Since the very first Women in Aviation International Girls in Aviation Day in 2015, the annual WAI event has grown every year since its first gathering of 32 events and 3,200 participants.
The Aerospace Center for Excellence is proud to partner with our local Women In Aviation – Lakeland Chapter to host this local event for the 2023 Girls in Aviation Day!
All are welcome to come: families, industry members, girls, boys, anyone with an interest in aviation and aerospace. This is a FREE event, and participants will be able to explore the Florida Air Museum, participate in hands-on STEM activities in our Skylab Innovation Center, and network with our local aviation business community.
