Florida Aviation Hall of Fame
Nominations

The Florida Aviation Hall of Fame seeks to recognize and enshrine the names of individuals who have made significant contributions and achievements to civil and/or military aviation or aerospace. There is no residency requirement, but the committee will give special consideration to individuals whose lives and careers involved service to the state of Florida.


Nomination Process

Any active FAHS member may nominate individuals for the Florida Aviation Hall of Fame. 

These procedures must be followed exactly or nominations will not be considered:

  1. Obtain authorization from the nominee, or family/next-of-kin if deceased, for the nomination.
  2. Submit a dated letter with the nominee’s biography and brief citations to justify the nomination.
  3. Submit several high-quality images of the nominee, suitable for enlargement.
  4. Nominations must be received no later than 1 October annually. 
  5. Mail entire package to Ms. Terri Griner, FAHOF Chairman, 451 8th Ave SE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

Nominations will be voted on annually and set aside after five (5) years.

ABOUT ACE

Florida Air Museum is a part of Aerospace Center for Excellence. ACE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, community-based institution and educational resource dedicated to bringing aerospace and aviation history and science alive for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Monday – Saturday: 10AM – 4PM

Sunday: 12PM – 4PM

The Museum occasionally closes to the public for special events. Please call ahead to confirm availability for your visit date.
